Going to eat

Good day, Hope you are all having a great day. I went out to eat this weekend at a restaurant that has been open throughout the pandemic. I really appreciate that business is still trying to function. Although a lot has changed to the business model, they still hammer away trying to make a day of it. I think that this takes a lot of courage knowing that everything can change in an instant. We sat down in the dining area spread out of course, just waiting for your order to come. A server came out and brought a group of people their food, the group rifled through the food, one out of the four said to the server, “Where are the curly fries?” I sat there looking and watching as the server came over to the table and asked to see the ticket. The lady said something that I though was over sarcastic “Well it’s the only thing we said!”, I got upset. Here is this server working, and this bitch is giving him a hard time over a fucking CURLY FRY. I couldn’t believe it even, I sitting a little bit away could see that the order, if it said curly fry on it, it was a honest mistake, cause she had two regular fries on the table. The server politely went away to retrieve these Curly Fry’s, obviously embarrassed and slightly humiliated. I really wanted to smack that bitch on her forehead. The server brought out the order and went back to work, the customer didn’t even say thank you.

Tell me if I’m wrong but there are just some people you don’t fuck with, especially people that cook your fucking food. Even right now when Covid has shut down millions of small businesses, people should be happy to get to go out, I know I was and am. I just find it stupid that people cant just be nice and understanding. Everyone is dealing with the pandemic in their own way. One wrong move and someone could snap and that would be a bad day. It reminds me of a Katt Williams, comedy special when he talks about, “A Black man in America, got to be hard, all mother fucking day.” Just change the first to “Everyone in America”, and that is where we are all at. Everyone just being dicks and fucks, just to save face. Just how cowardly is this? Maybe its not, but disrespectful it is. This person is doing his job and this lady comes in and belittles him to make herself look good. I find it wrong and unbecoming. Honestly I think the people she was with were embarrassed for this interaction.
