Cops

What would society be like without cops? Have you ever thought what would it be like? Who would be the authority? You? Me? Would you like to have the armed forces patrolling your neighborhood? What about a secret agency like the Gestapo in Nazi Germany or the Mabahith in Saudi Arabia? Can you even fathom the possibility of the anarchy that would arise if we had no cops.

Take this scenario, we live in a country that the population is roughly 380 million people, if and only if 2% of the population decided that they wanted to commit a crime that’s 7.6 million individuals committing murder, rape, theft, hate crimes, ect… While the other 372 million are the victims. What would happen? I believe like many others would take up arms and defend not only my home but the city and towns that are near me. It would be the old west again and the number of crimes committed would sky rocket. Even if you were not going to commit a crime you would soon have to. The utopia that some envision would not come because the government would have no choice but to line the streets with armed forces or some form of secret police. The idea of defunding the police or just retire them completely, is a complete and utter fucking joke. Think people.
